Tony Burke

In 2016, Burke committed to his lifelong passion for esports when he became the director of media for UGC. Since then, he has produced and directed all live events and online broadcasts. In addition to event broadcasting, Burke launched UGC Studios in 2018, an esports-centric content laboratory responsible for producing the first-of-its-kind esports news and lifestyle network showcasing the very best in esports talent, topics, and guests across the world.

Prior to UGC, Burke honed his post-production and broadcasting skills in the field freelancing as a technical director under the director Greg Klazura, The Jerry Springer Show, and director Marc Shaykin, the only director in the Chicagoland area with residencies in the CBS, ABC, and Fox Studios. In addition, Burke freelanced as an editor for agencies FCB Global, Clutch Studios, and Golin, where he held clients such as McDonald’s, Pope Francis, Patron Spirits Company, and edited his first Super Bowl commercial for Sargento Cheese at the age of 22.

Tony earned an Associate of Arts in Post-Production and Broadcasting from Robert DeNiro’s Tribeca Flashpoint Academy in Chicago, Illinois.
